Parkview Students Get Technology Lesson from Google Employees

Parkview Elementary School welcomed Google to our campus in early February.  A Google technical assistant came to our campus to instruct our teachers in the use of their Augmented Reality software and devices.  Students were able to use these devices to explore the Roman Empire, closely examine insects and spiders, take a journey through the solar system, visit a rain forest and dropped into many other interactive scenes throughout the day.  Students thoroughly enjoyed experiencing these lessons with their peers and discussing critical thinking questions in groups.  Parkview teachers are committed to the use of technology to enhance their daily lessons and increase student engagement and success!
